About The Pisstakers
Some fillingThe term Pisstaker has nothing to do with urine, but everything to do with Ed's cynicism, sarcasm and attempts at humor. I'm a Brit by birth so I tend to be a bit dry and obscure, sorry if you don't get it! If you aren't quite sure how to take the posts here, rest assured, content is based on genuine events and topics and never strays too far from the truth. if urine really is your thing...
Posts in Ed's personal blog spot should enable you to work out what I am like as a person. However, if you can't be bothered to analyse me from what I write, what follows is a bit About Me.

8 facts about Ed
I cycled 1000 miles in 13 days and arrived delirious at my destination on 11th September 2001. I thought the scenes on the public TVs in the hotel were from a Hollywood movie, so I was doubly delirious to learn it was real planes going into real buildings..
Diehard was the first video I ever watched twice. I had no taste back then. FWIW I think Tears of the Sun is Bruce Willis best ever movie.
If you ever need a stock picker, don't ask me. I invariably make money on my own stock choices, but am a disaster when advising someone else. If you are interested, I have shares in Synaptics, EMC and eBay, great companies, but they all owe me money right now. Hey, shit happens but they are going to pay off one day, I just don't know which day.
I have suffered from asthma since I was 2. No modern medication has ever cured it, and one arrogant doctor said he would eat his hat if he couldn't cure me. I presume he ate his hat, because I still wheeze like a bellows. Only homeopathic treatments have killed asthma stone dead, but they are sooo expensive.
I don't like spending money frivolously. My dad is a Scotsman, but as a big spending bookworm, he clearly is not the source of my tightness in the wallet area.
Until I bought the Mac I am typing on now 5 years ago, I never knew a thing worth diddly about computers. And to all the naysayers, that ridiculous sum of money I spent on this Powerbook was an investment!
I have been traveling for 20 years. Due to work and itchy feet, (more the latter!) I haven't really had a home sweet home for years. If Nepal or Sudan weren't so unstable now, I would recommend that everyone send their kid there for a few months to learn what real life is all about.
I had a serious bang on the head in a car accident. It didn't knock me out but it made me ambidextrous and very appreciative of the need to live life without unnecessary stress.
And that is it. Ed in a nutshell.
