Wierd Al & funny words spelt backwards

Yes, after writing a short piece on the word Satire, spelt backwards, it is time to play again.

Courtesy of Wierd Al, this profound sentence reads the same backwards and forwards ie it is a pallindrome by any other name.

Go hang a salami, I'm a lasagna hog

I concur, there is something perfectly delicious about lasagna. Layers of tasty meat with hints of bacon, celery and oodles of red wine, sandwiched between creamy sauce-covered pasta... Bring it on.

Contrast that to the dry wrinkly old sausage hanging in bars and delicatessens throughout Southern Europe. So the flavours are strong and interesting, but they can be spoilt by musty pig smells and a lingering doubt as to the origin of the sausage swinging above your head.
