Razors with multiple blades.
I have been a good boy and moved with the times, getting as far as 3 blade-razors, before snubbing the ludicrous 4 or even 5 bladers. But you know what, I tried a cheap single blade Bic a couple of months back and I am not going back to these snazzy gadgets again! No more cracking the basin to unclog the accumulated soap and stubble between the blades, a faster shave, more economical than anything I have used in years - and my face is as smooth as a badger's ass too when I'm finished.Internally vented extractor hoods
Sorry, but if I am burning the Sunday roast, I want that smog out my house, not recycled around the kitchen, diner and up the stairs. Stupid idea, maybe within code, but stupid.
Central hot air vents in the ceiling
Which physicist dreamt that idea up? Hot air rises, hot air costs a lot of money to generate, hot air is required from floor level to 6 feet up, not 2 feet down from the ceiling where I can't feel it. It is a totally ass backwards design in the name of what? Aesthetics, convenience for the builder? Beats me, it is a pain for everyone.
Air con set at 58 degrees
Which bright sparks think it is clever to chill customers who are coming inside your store to escape from 90 degrees heat 95% humidity outsside? The only expanation is that store owners must have shares with cold and chest medication manufacturers, because that temperature drop is not good for anyone's health. And once inside, wouldn't you want customers to take their time, stroll around, check stuff out at leisure - instead of rushing around trying to keep warm, desperate to get back out into the unbearable heat? No brains.
What mod cons or systems really beggar belief in your daily life?
Enjoy the content.
