MyBlogLog Sunday - online buzz

Updates on articles & comments posted around the internet since April 2 - most recent (as I find them) first.
30: Bobbarama gave a very praiseworthy shout out. He also raised the issue of where exactly I was going in terms of "going places". His Google map was surprisingly detailed.

29: Plooptionary mentions modestly, his appearance on week 6, only to run away with victory on week 8. How big hearted are the Brits, though. He won gummi bears but, insisted that a local US resident gets the gummi bears, thus robbing the Postal Service of business too.

Bravo and for week 10 only, the funniest comment will get a Ploop's pack of gummi bears to add to their bonus 11th spot.
28: On her Saturday stuff feature, Polliwog is giving everyone tips on how to get on the last 10 list for a MyBlogLog Sunday mini review. Her biggest open secret, however, is how to win gummi bears prizes. She has done it twice, so go ask the Pond guru-ette for help!

27: We cater to everyone here. Tigger gave his cat's perspective on life and showed his appreciation of a MyBlogLog Sunday mini review.
26: Howard at The Web Pen blog feels he is being punished for his association with MyBlogLog Sunday. Perhaps the lure of gummi bears is getting to him!

25: Outrageous to the end Lord Likely says it all so well: Meanwhile, The Pisstakers selected Likely as their 'bonus blog' on their 'MyBlogLog Sunday' competition. They say, "This guy, sorry, gentle-man, is seriously amusing". They are quite right, of course. It brings a lump to my throat, it really does. And, I don't mind telling you, a lump to my trousers. I really do love history, you know.
24: Thanks (I hope) for the fleeting mention in 2 search engine caches: Billion Dollar Baloney, and Far Corner. have some buried pages in Google which mention a link between those 2 featured blogs and MyBlogLog Sunday. Whether the bloggers deleted their affiliation with The Pisstakers in disgust after they were reviewed, or their blog search engine has more holes in it than a swiss cheese, I don't know, but there is nothing concrete on their sites right now mentioning MyBlogLog Sunday.

Anyway, they got an honorable mention and one of them still appears in my RSS reader, so it wasn't in vain!

23: Talk Digger is an interesting concept that follows "conversations" going on around the internet. The conversation seemed to stop at times about MyBlogLog Sunday, but the will was there to at least start a chat.
22: RMail seem to have collated a few articles and sorted them by tags. We get a mention, or rather the gummi bear prizes get a mention in one of their categories. Not sure anyone else in the world knows of the link, but maybe one day Rmail will become the new GMail?

21: On April 30th we became Ploop believers and very cool we feel about that. One of the cleverest blogs I have mini reviewed, Ploop uses graphs to amazing effect. I will shut up now as a picture says a thousand words.
20: Somehow the mention of Ed's competition not to win a Zune got intertwined with MyBlogLog Sunday and a Zune specialist scraper site gave us a mention. Oh well, can't win them all

19: At Technorati there is a feature called "wtf" which means Where's the Fire? There is some fire about MyBlogLog Sunday. Feel free to add or edit the self promotion.
18: Are we there yet? has entered into the MBL Sunday party mode good and proper and as well as mentioning the wonders of the Pisstakers, Linda was awarded the prize for bears and a review - by multiple winning machine, Polli.

17: Steve Yu has done a couple of dances celebrating his involvement in the contest. I don't know what happens if he wins gummi bears, its a long way to malaysia and even bears can't swim that far.
16: Repeat winner and dynamo bloggerette, Polli at Polliwog's Pond has posted several times about MyBlogLog Sunday. Her tactic, to blog about the contest and ask her readers to check out the Pisstakers, has paid dividends for all concerned.

15: I just worked out that this link referring to our gummi bears prize is not from a psycho at a nut house, but from a philosophical good guy who frequents a forum called Mental pointers.
14: Mikes Money making Mission plugs the concept of MyBlogLog Sunday. A different form of link love indeed.

13: Unlucky for some, but not for Callie Ann who celebrates her inclusion in MyBlogLog Sunday. A witty blogger herself, she also delves inside The Pisstakers and comments that there is a lot of funny funny stuff to read and watch. That makes at least 2 of us who think so, then!
12: Over at Blog About `your Blog, they referred to MyBlogLog Sunday as a good example of how to integrate a traffic-generating feature into a blog.

11: I believe this is a reference to MyBlogLog Sunday from Italian blogger Mondoblog. Grazie
10: Web Pen Blog commenter highlights the realities of winning MBL Sunday. Gummi bears are made of gelatin, and this is where gelatin comes from!

9: Last week's review and gummi bear winner, Bobbarama, reminded his legion of followers about the MyBlogLog Sunday feature, which he says forms part of an info-rich blog, no less. Info-rich - a term that proves that outsiders can be relied on to summarize a blog better than the author themself!
8: Highena summarised the MyBlogLog Sunday feature and pinpointed some advantages of this evil link love scheme. The most evil was Ed, though, whose funny quote of the day suggested that everyone hate the Highena blog because it is too funny, compared to The Pisstakers.

7: REOW remind their readers to call by here before midnight Saturday in an effort to refer more visitors to the Pisstakers than any other featured blog from last week. Gummi bears are a powerful lure!
6: In addition to gooey link love and prizes, participants in MyBlogLog Sunday get free info that may be useful for SEO and Search Engine ranking (SERP) purposes.

5: Random Encounters of We make a plea to their readers to come to The Pisstakers so they can win some gummi bears. Didn't they read elsewhere that gummis rip out your cavities as well as cause toothache?
4: Adam Klimowski from Poland has discovered MyBlogLog Sunday.

3: Bob won the prize this week of gummi bears and a review. No gummi bears to show you, but there is a review!
2: It seems as though Robyn, the Community Manager at MyBlogLog deemed this feature an "Interesting Usage" of the MBL community, Have a read and yes, even Community Managers have a sense of humor.

1: Come back next Sunday to see the next 10 featured bloggers from MyBlogLog. These were from previous weeks.

Remember, all bloggers, if you write a post about MyBlogLog Sunday, and tag it in Technorati, I will find it and you will get a second link!
