Conclusion: I wouldn't trust Hollywood to produce a faithful reproduction of anything. They reinvent people. A Beautiful Mind, anyone? (Russel Crowe's character was a complete jerk to his wife in real life.) Anyway, the only way to be taken seriously now and get an "R" is to cut up a corpse and perform some hideous acts while swearing like de Niro in Goodfellas. Any volunteers for the corpse?
