This Pastor was stretching the Word, because his ministry is a unique set-up indeed - apart from its similarities to what we saw on antique film, The Mosquito Coast, where the arch enemy of maverick, Harrison Ford, had a similar remote set up! Since the spring of 2004 The City Church has been doing multiple-site services. During a service the speaker (Pastor Wendell, in most cases) is in one location and is video broadcasted to our other campuses (see diagram below). The pastor also has monitors to see responses from the remote congregation, so he may interact with them — it's church like you've never experienced before!
